Regis Lansac - Vita Breva

Regis Lansac

A journey in images
A photographed life
An iconographic journey from provincial France to the Australian Bush….

The story of an odyssey which began in France 60 years ago, including prints which Lansac inherited from his grandparents and parents, dating back to 1900.

A journey which took the artist to Australia at the age of 25 as a migrant, a journey of self discovery from the bourgeois, closed society of a provincial French town to the primeval spectacle of the Nullarbor Plain at night in the bush in the 70s to the dance stages of the world.

A journey of discovery through the medium of photography.

Time: Thur: 10.00am - 5.00pm; Fri: 10.00am - 8.00pm; Sat: 11.00am - 5.00pm; Sun: 12.00pm - 4.00pm
