The Carnival Comes to Town!

Strike up the Band and join the party as Crown St Mall comes alive with a carnival parade. Local musician, Guy Feer from Mikelangelo and the Black Sea Gentleman directs a musical extravaganza not to be missed!
Viva La Gong will kick off in the mall amphitheatre with a performance by the local Wadi Wadi dancers and the inspired gypsy mayhem of Baro Love.
They will be joined by local choirs Eklektika and Funkier Than Alice, local muscians and a Balkan style brass band, the Circus WOW performers, the incredible hoops of Heidi Hillier, local acrobatic troupe the Hectic Brothers, the Wollongong Illawarra Roller Derby women plus jugglers, stilt walkers and unicyclists!
Featuring David De Santi, accordion; Melinda Wishart, clarinet/sax; Marianthe Loucataris and Rob Laurie, percussion; Mark Holder-Keeping, tenor sax; Guy Freer, tenor sax.
